This Privacy Policy explains how Reach ("Reach", "we", "us") collects, uses, and
shares information when you use the Reach website at reachapp.fun,
the Reach mobile application, and related services (together, the "Service"). Reach is an AI-assisted
livestream clipping tool for creators and clippers.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and
authentication identifiers. If you sign in with Google or Discord, we receive your email and a unique
account ID from that provider (we do not receive your password).
- Connected accounts (optional, read-only). If you connect a YouTube, TikTok, Twitch,
or Discord account, we access limited, read-only data — such as your public channel/profile,
ownership verification, and public post performance (e.g. view counts) — to attribute clips and show
analytics. We do not post on your behalf and do not request write access to your
social accounts unless a feature explicitly asks and you approve it.
- Content you create. Clips, projects, edits, captions, ratings, and feedback you
submit within the Service.
- Usage & device data. Basic technical data such as IP address, browser/app
version, and interactions with the Service, used to operate and secure it.
- Payment data. If you purchase a subscription, payments are processed by our
third-party payment provider; we receive your subscription status but not your full card details.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service — including generating, editing, rendering, and
delivering clips.
- To authenticate you and secure your account.
- To show you analytics and attribute clip performance for accounts you have connected.
- To communicate with you about the Service, including support and important notices.
- To improve the Service and the quality of automated clip selection and rendering.
3. AI Processing
Reach uses automated systems and third-party AI providers to analyze stream footage and transcripts in
order to detect and render clip-worthy moments. This processing is used to operate the Service and is not
used to build advertising profiles about you.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who process
it on our behalf to run the Service, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations:
- Authentication: Supabase (account sign-in and session management).
- Database & hosting: Neon (database) and DigitalOcean (servers and object
storage for rendered media).
- AI processing: Anthropic and Google (footage/transcript analysis).
- Platform data: Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and Discord APIs (and data-collection
providers such as Apify) to fetch the public/read-only data described above.
- Payments: our payment provider, for subscription billing.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a
business transfer.
5. Cookies
We use a single, essential, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in on the web. We do not use
third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the
Service. Raw stream recordings are transient and are deleted automatically after processing. You may
request deletion of your data at any time (see below); we will delete it except where we are required to
retain it by law.
7. Your Rights & Choices
- Access & correction. You can view and update your account information in the app.
- Disconnect accounts. You can disconnect any connected social account at any time,
which stops further data collection from it.
- Deletion. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing
us at the address below. We honor creator opt-out and per-creator data-deletion requests.
Creators: if you are a streamer and want your content excluded from
Reach, or your data deleted, contact us at the email below and we will process your request.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections, access controls, and per-user
data isolation — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure,
but we work to protect your data and respond promptly to any incident.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction),
and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. International Users
Reach is operated from the United States. By using the Service, you understand your information may be
processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and,
where appropriate, notify you within the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes
acceptance of the updated policy.
